the car has been upgraded to a stock 99' body and a Ferrari 575 hood. the colored gauges have control switches under the steering wheel that
change those gauges to any three different colors :purple; green; and blue
not much is done interiorwise

Wow man, you got supercar power under the 'hood... that's almost 400kW of power. Are you planning to get it any further?
I heard about some guy with a VX SS Commodore which had an LS1 engine installed, then he increased the size to 442 cubes, or 7.2 litres. Are ya thinking of trying something like that?

See on the front of the 3000GT, is that one of those covers people put on the front of their cars?

actually STREETFIRE, the car isn't mine. its some guy thats named CJ or something. i never said it was mine, but i've been wanting to get it, but due to the fact its a vr-4 and he's got about 40k under the hood, he's charging 50-60 thousand. i want to buy a 99' stock and build it from the ground up.:)

Oh. When are you gonna get the '99 3000GT? 'Cos if you're doing it from the ground up, you could fully work it.

i don't know, i'm currently in a little money rut since i buy 100 octane for the lexus, and i get 10 gallons... its sixty bucks every time. the 3000 gt is sort of my 2nd favorite and backup plan if i can never buy an r34. racin isn't goin too good, since i'm the fastest outside of sport cars, nobody wants to race. basically, i'm dreaming for it. gonna try to get a job designin games or graphics, and if i can't i'll probably try opening a tuner performance and repair shop.but i'm doing good pretty much.

wow this thread is old, but i missed it.
i'm still trying to get the 99' 3000gt like i said. the car i currently have is a .mix of 92' and 97' parts from a gt and stealth. it ran great when i bought it off a guy for a few grand but i must've done something because now it starts whenever the hell it wants to.
also mine doesn't have the power that the blue gt (look at the first few posts) had. its running just over 400hp and 15psi. i call it a ricer eater because thats the only thing this junk can beat. surprisingly, my old lexus(that i gave to a relative, wish i had it still) is doing the same thing. i checked my fuel pump( because i get the spark, but it doesn't turn over;(must be fuel or electrical); pumps alright. all my connections around the MSD box are secure, i know nothing's been rubbing a wire. checked underneath:nothing.
although, the battery has been draining alot more when i try to start it. its a truelife i think, brand new almost. now it has no problem turning over if i leave it on the electric charger all night. but then i can't even trust it to keep going for a block. spark plugs are good(NGK) but i'm in confusion right now:-s. i was wondering if anyone could figure out the problem.
oh, i got my clutch polished and put back in the night before the problem started. dont know whether or not the problem is because of putting in the clutch.
but any help would be appreciated.:)

The clutch is fine. Check your wiring - chassis joints and the like - because if not wired correctly, they can suck out about 10 volts, meaning the car won't start.

i'm really really mad now!:veryangry:my ecu is down on the passenger side right behind the interior(know what i mean, i just can't think of where its at is called) but its basically under the dash on passenger side. well i was working with it, my relative(that has [my] lexus) was there seeing if we could get the problem. turns out, all i needed to do was push it back a bit, and it started right up.yep, i'm really mad.
