Problems ingame, Help!

hey, I just got this game and when I start it, it works normal and all the sounds are normal, except the graphics.
Everything is black and white and the text is impossible to read and the cars are all white.

Anyone know what the problem is with this?
I have already updated both my sound and display drivers.. :s

somthing with the video feed, did ya check the disc for damage?


(sorry if this doesn't help, i know how to handle console problems, little with computers)

maybe your graphic card are not suitable for the game. ?

what are you playing on? a PC? if so then its most likely your graphics (check to see if your card is supported by nfs carbon; you can do this from "game advisor" at www.microsoft.com)
