Our friends from JSC "51state" in Lithuania has this nice american muscle.

According to them, Ford Mustang made in 1966 is fully authentic. Although I am almost sure steering wheel is changed - the stock one should look much thinner.

The wheel's not stock.

I'd probably increase the displacement to 5.7 litres and fit a supercharger. Bliss.

BTW, great car. :great:

But its rather difficult (for me at least) to work a stick shift, but I am still getting used to it. After all, my S2000 is manual!!! I think I'm starting to get pretty good...

That you're staring at is a 289 Windsor engine, completely stock. Remember: 289 cubic inches = 4.6 litre V8.

Puny muscles, you leave them biting the dust at the highways...

:sigh:

Will you ever shut up? Even that stock-as-a-rock Windsor would blow the doors off any whitegoods-style Evo.

Recently, I saw one of those '66 Stangs on the road. It was red and I have to tell you, it looked pretty awesome!! Your lucky friend!!:D

You should see the 1967 Fastback - the Shelby GT500 was first based on it, but the Fastback is much sexier without the extra headlights and tail spoiler.

Ford Mustang. 302 Windsor, Boss version. Wasn't made for max power, more a cruiser.

I forgot to mention that it's a 1970 model - you can tell because there's no side scoop.

Now that I look at it, the car's actually unrestored - it's as was in 1966.
