Blacklist Top 5 tips?

This is on the PS2 game....Just wondering if anyone has any tips on defeating the Top 5 members of the Blacklist? I have finally gotten to the point where I'm about to challenge Webster, #5 on the Blacklist and was wondering if anyone had any tips on him? I have no idea how he races in his Viper.

I mean, I just got done beating #6 (Forgot his name) on the list, the one with the Lamborghini and man, that was the tuffest opponent I have had so far. Luckily he was as reckless as he was fast as the Lamborghini is fast but it handles worth crap. I out ran him in my Supara which is just about maxed out on tuning and beat him in the turns and all mainly because of it's handling. I won the pinkslip on his car and tried the Lamborghini in Free Roam and while it is fast it does handle worth crap as I would just keep sliding on the turns.

So I'm just wondering if it gets a little bit easier from here on out? I know that's kind of stupid as of course as you go up the list the tuffer the opponents are but the Lamborghini was my tuffest and I truly believe I can beat the other cars in my Supra. :drunk:

Cool...Thanks for the input :cool: I haven't been able to play it as of late as I have been busy with GTA 4 but I might try it a little tonight. I can probably purchase another car but it would take all my money and then some to even get that car up to what the specs are on the Supra I have as the Supra is almost perfect on everything. So, I'll have to stick with the Supra until I beat about 2 more Blacklist memebrs so I can unlock the next step up in the performance department.

here was my way (note i have xbox version, so controls were different)


use the lambo to beat the vette. if you get lucky, the vette might lose a bit of pace, and after you beat the vette. take on the viper with the vette(always get the pinkslip) beating the viper is rather fun for me. your primary concern is how to take corners. know the road, know how much to slide, etc. afterwards you face rich punk ronny i think. he has a db9. this car is the HARDEST car to beat for unknown reasons. get lucky, don't mess up, and use the viper from #4 to beat the game. beatins #2's SLR is all about speed and handling. #1 is to be done with any high end car. my choices:viper, carrera gt, murcielago, ford gt. hope this helps;)

Yeah...Got by Webster which was no easy task. 1 race he hit a truck or something and was at a stand still for a while, giving me a 12 second lead 8|, then before I knew it about a stright away or so later, he cut it down to 4sec and was on my back bumper :-s. He seemed to have the speed on the straight aways but he would get careless a lot by running into things and he couldn't handle turns too well. That's where I accel, is on the turns as my car has great handling. I got lucky but now I have to go up against the Viper. I didn't get his car as I didn't get lucky enough to get the pinkslip and I can't just go back and finish a race or save after each race (As someone had noted in a message I saw) as I guess that's what happens on the PS2 version. I wasn't about to go and redo those 3 races as I was lucky enough to beat him the first time. If I wanted to I could go buy a vette and get it going anyways but it wouldn't handle any better than my Supra right now. I'll keep pluggin and we'll see what happens....

if you got a race that you already did(any of em') that pays good and you thinks easy(i try drag races) you could constantly race the same thing and get cash. then you could buy the viper or vette. good to hear you're good on corners. you'll need it for #3 alot!!
