Hi guys!

Kinda missed you for a while... I lived good experiences in this forum, and i don't want to lose them, so i came back to just see you around...

So, what's about me?, what did i do in this time?, you may be wondering...

Well, i'm gonna tell you something, i'm a linux-only guy right now, windows was wiped off my HD for good, and i'm not going back, Ubuntu Hardy Amd64 has proven strong, fast and reliable, almost all programs have native replacements, or, if not, i can use Wine + 3DMark patch (so more games will run), or QEmu (VM)...

Appart from fine-tuning my install, i've been experimenting with packaging, i mean, creating installers for apps, right now, i'm learning, but i'm sure i'll make it into MOTU (Google it ;)...

As i can see, the forum is getting popular, new users.... COOL!!!

Hope you have missed me as much as i did miss you guys...

You can contact me with GFire (Ooppss... it's Xfire in windows), darkguy01

An I am on my summer holiday from university. Still, much other work: writing articles for local IT magazine, having some new functions installed into Lithuanian version of NFS Tuning (http://www.nfstuning.com) (which is more known as AutoNews.lt (http://www.autonews.lt/lt/)).

Coupe weeks ago I was seeing 1000 kilometers circuit race at Palanga, Lithuania. More than 100 teams not only from Lithuania competed on road-based circuit and had to drive 1000 kilometers. As I was there as a journalist, I could access almost all areas, so had chances to see the reace from inside :) My biggest work was that I was broadcasting live results on this site. The system is in lithuanian, but you can see some nice cars out there: final results (http://www.autonews.lt/lt/results.php?event=4). Spyker C8 Spyder GT2R won the event :rally:

If you take a closer look at the table you will see such names like Adampolis AGM Kit Car - this car was made in Kaunas, Lithuania by automotive company called "Adampolis". I know them a little, because everyday I pass their place when driving from university :) The car is very lightweight and has a BMW engine. Funny thing is that during the race it showed up even better than Ferrari F430 :)
