Thread: Muscle cars

  1. #1

    Default Muscle cars

I have been playing NFS: Carbon for quite sometime now and I usually race with Tuners and occasionally, Exotics.

However, the only Muscle car I use is the Corvette Z06 and that's only during Speedtraps.

I find that Muscle cars are extremely hard to use because they usually tend to drift too much (and its not my tuning for sure - I put the wheels to "grip" setting!).

I see that there are quite a number of Muscle fans out here. What do you guys find great about Muscles?

Ram power... how is that a plus point? Sorry I'm a pretty "clean" driver

Every driver in Rockport and Palmont has encountered coppers at one time or another... what do you do... drive around around 'em? :p

Goodbye ladies and gentleman. No more music here. And don't PM me asking for it.

The Corvette is cute and fast!! Muscle cars are fast and I like that part even if they are uncontrollable

The faster they are, and the more sideways you can get in them, makes them one of the best I rekon.

Yea, I want to post a video of me driving my GT500. It always seems like im going insane and I have no control at all, yet I come out of all my turns clean. Probably the most fun car in the whole game.

When you thought Muscle, you were probably like "Oh heavy front, lots of torque, and high ride height means that the handling is going to be real bad, so I should put grip tires".

Do this, tune a muscle car to the aspects of a tuner, and you'll be surprised. Don't put drift tires though lol, just leave it in the middle, standard tires. I'd say that my GT500 has handling better than my 350z, and its alot faster too.

PS. Oh you gotta know how to really drive first. Like insanely good driving, like me, .

I personally like Tuners because it pwns wen it comes down to quick turns . I love doing speedbreakers and sharp, quick, and unexpected turns with a Tuner, but most of the time i get caught >_<. But if i dont, i leave the coppers in the dust! their history! yahoo!

Yeah, but then the roads turn long and (mostly) straight with some gentle curves, muscle cars shine. What's the point of taking a gentle 45-degree turn in a WRX when you can do it a lot quicker (and more enjoyably) in a 496-powered Monaro?
